Annual Prayer Breakfast

Each year WRW sponsors a Prayer Breakfast. The 2003 theme was "A Perfect Gift."  The referenced scripture from God's Word was taken from James 1:16-18. Our guest speaker was Evangelist Edith Marshall of Bethany Baptist Church. Our retreats are held at the Historic Moorestown Community House in Moorestown, NJ.

Along with receiving an inspirational message, we also take time to celebrate with praise & worship songs, heart felt testimonies, and praise reports. Our speaker challenged us to celebrate "A Perfect Gift" that God has given us in His Son, Jesus Christ as we fellowship with family and friends during the coming year.

A scrumptious breakfast was prepared for our quests by the WRW members. The menu included: French toast, waffles, grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, salmon cakes, quiche, danish, biscuits, muffins, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea. Praise God! Our physical bodies and our spiritual bodies were both well fed.

Each table joined together in group prayer to cast all our cares upon the Lord who cares so much for us. Heartfelt prayers went up to the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers our prayers. What a mighty God we serve!

We closed with the inspirational song by Hezekiah Walker, "I need you to survive." We embraced in song, food fellowship and love as we celebrated "A Perfect Gift" our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Join us in December as we come together again in love and celebration of our Savior!
